Early Childhood Teacher, Sh’kyna
Kia ora koutou, my name is Sh’kyna Venables.
I have been working in early childhood education for the past three years while I completed my Bachelor of Education through Te Rito Maioha. My Husband, our two boys and I have recently moved home to Whangārei from Motueka Tasman with our two ngeru (Popcorn and Oreo) and have been welcomed into the whānau here at IMPACT Childcare. Some of my hobbies include crochet, sewing, knitting, baking, reading, and hiking.
My passion is under twos, working with and alongside pēpi as they learn to navigate the world, their bodies andthose around them. It is a privilege to be a part of this learning and supporting them through challenges and celebrating their achievements.
I look forward to joining you and your tamariki as they embark on their learning at IMPACT.
