Kia ora, my name is Mikaela, I have been relieving at Impact since it opened and have been fulltime since 2022.
I have been lucky enough to join this beautiful team and am very excited. I am a very passionate and qualified kaiako and continue to share my ideas and grow as a kaiako with the help of your tamariki.
My philosophy is solely about creating relationships that influence a sense of belonging. I enjoy seeing your tamariki grow within the educational environment and will help facilitate memories that I hope they will remember.
I was lucky enough (or crazy) to move onto more study (why stop I said) and started my graduate diploma in early childhood education which I completed in 2024, this then sets me up to going onto my Master of Education which is an option I may look into in the future.
I live with my Husband Cam and our cat Milo in our own home in Kotata rise. We enjoy the outdoors and doing things for and around our own home. I also have my sporting code, hockey to help separate myself from my workload.
