Kia Ora,
My name is Kia Hawes and I have been given the privilege to be part of your tamariki’s learning journey. I have been a teacher since 2004 after my husband and I moved to NZ from South Africa. I did my training in NZ while working in ECE. I have two sons, two stepchildren, four grand babies and two spoilt dogs. We have been living in Whangarei since 2007. I am passionate about learning in nature, kindness, creativity and teaching from the heart amongst many things. I have worked with all age groups in various settings. I look forward to meeting everyone and being part of the Impact whānau.
